I am concerned about the earthquake issues regarding this proposed hydroelectric project.
I believe the lack of data, for example no current seismic assessment of Dorena Dam, is sufficient enough to halt all forward progress in this project.
I am concerned about the unstable rock substrate beneath the north spillway side of Dorena Dam.
I believe the lack of access to current construction plans of this project is a problem.
I think the information presented by Mr. Steele is not really useful in understanding the earthquake issues regarding this proposed project.
I am concerned about cutting a 9 foot diameter hole through the concrete proportion of Dorena Dam due to fact that the dam is 60 years old.
Before this project moves forward, we need to reconsider our present day understanding about earthquakes compared to the lack of any seismic design criteria in the construction of Dorena Dam.
